VISA SERVICES
WHY A CONSULTANT ?
When you can argue your court cases yourself, why you engage a Lawyer? Similarly, while any visa can be processed by the applicant himself, an experienced Visa Consultant may do it a little better! The numerous refused-visa cases coming to TRAVISA is ample proof why you need a consultant. By the grace of God we have been able to get visas for many cases refused two or even more times! Obviously most of those cases were initially refused only due to incomplete or faulty U.S. Sponsorship documents or due to incomplete or wrong filling of the visa applications or due to inconsistencies in answers at the Consulate visa interview. Therefore, it is always better to engage a Consultant.
If you decide to engage a Visa Consultant, there is hardly anyone more qualified than Mr. Joseph Chacko! Why? Not only he has over 35 years experience in handling thousands of cases of all types of visas, but he has also gone through most of the process himself in person – Visitor visas issued to him at Calcutta (now Kolkata), Paris (when he lost his handbag with passports, air tickets, money and everything while in transit at Charles de Gaulle Airport!) and at Madras (now Chennai); Immigrant visa for self & family, Greencard, Social Security card, Extension of stay, Re-entry Permits, Renewal of Greencard, local U.S. ID Card (Texas), Abandonment (surrender) of Greencard for 10-year Multi-entry B1/B2 Visitor visa and what not! Familiar with the working of the Consulate, he can brief you properly for your visa interview. More over, he is a Frequent Flyer on several airlines for his wide travel all over the world and nearly 40 trips to USA. He has traveled extensively through the length and breadth of the United States by Road, Rail and Air, regularly visiting his clients since 1973 when there were very few Malayalees in America. He has seen the growth of the American Malayalee community, especially the Marthomites since the day they started as a Prayer Group of 8 persons in New York. You can hardly find a more competent person to consult on matters concerning American or Indian formalities, Passport, Visa or other travel-related questions.
IMMIGRANT VISAS
TRAVISA services are available right from the filing of the Immigrant Visa Petition with the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly known as INS). Now that most of the processing is done by the NVC in the United States itself, it is all the more important to consult TRAVISA at every stage; for all Documentation, Payment of Fees, Filling up the prescribed DS-230 Forms (mostly done online) Submission of I-864 Affidavit of Support by the U.S. Sponsor and Original Documents by the Beneficiary direct to NVC who will schedule the visa appointment in due course; Submit Visa Application through the VFS, Complete Lab Tests and Medical Examinations by the Panel Physicians and final Visa issuance by the local U.S. Consulate, making travel arrangements till final US destination.
Some US Sponsors behave like “know-alls” and land in insoluble traps! It pays to consult !

NON IMMIGRANT VISAS
Pardon me for repeating that most of the visa refusals are due to faulty/incomplete visa application OR incomplete/wrong US sponsorship documents OR due to inconsistency in statements at Consular visa interview!
TRAVISA must be consulted as soon as you plan a trip to the United States so that we will advise you at every stage from telling the US Sponsor how to prepare the I-134 Affidavit of Support or the Letter of Invitations. Many are misguided by the various private websites. Some US Sponsors even send English letter of invitation to parents who cannot read an English Alphabet! Another common blunder by most US Sponsors is that they take computer printouts of the 2-page I-134 Affidavit of Support Form on two separate sheets of paper instead of front & back of the SAME sheet of paper to avoid misuse of the Notarized 2nd page by any unauthorized persons! It is in your own interest to consult an expert!!
TRAVISA will do everything from payment of the prescribed visa fees (presently $131.00) at the designated HDFC Bank branches, taking the Visa Appointment in the Language of your preference, Submit the Online Visa Application, take the printout of visa application, affix the mandatory photographs and signatures, help you prepare the proper local support documents and brief you for your visa interview.
